Claude Code — 6 releases (v2.1.227–v2.1.233)
Busiest tool this week by far. The headliner: type

Also new: GitLab MR support in worktree view, memory limits on build commands (no more frozen sessions), and fixes for cloud session drops and Linux CPU spikes. Model config updates and smarter model selection with organized categories. Enterprise admins get finer-grained security policy controls. Steady, incremental progress — nothing flashy, but the enterprise polish is real.
Antigravity CLI — 2 releases (v1.1.12–v1.1.13)
Two solid quality-of-life drops. v1.1.13 lets you hit the Gemini API directly via environment variable — no login required. Artifact list scrolling is dramatically faster thanks to smarter caching. v1.1.12 adds an instant outline view for long documents and lets you extract structured data from commands without starting a full conversation.
Devin Desktop — 2 releases (v3.7.16–v3.7.25)
v3.7.25 fixes a painful sidebar slowdown if you've accumulated thousands of cached sessions — plus MCP server auth fixes. v3.7.16 adds a safety confirmation before updating while agents are running. Small, but the kind of thing that saves you from losing work.
Kiro CLI — 2 releases (v2.17.0–v2.18.0)
v2.18.0 ships voice input — dictate commands instead of typing. That's a notable UX shift for a CLI tool. Also new: a spec run review screen for reading docs and staging comments. v2.17.0 added cloud sessions so you can pick up work from any device, plus substring matching in the slash menu.
Gemini CLI — 1 release (v0.55.1)
This week's highlight (see below). Security-focused release with one genuinely useful addition.

Gemini CLI v0.55.1 is a security-first release that deserves attention. Stricter path protections reduce the blast radius of rogue tool calls — an increasingly real concern as agentic workflows touch more of your filesystem. The addition of automatic tool registry discovery is the sleeper feature here: instead of manually wiring up tools, the CLI finds them for you at setup time. That's friction removed from a step that currently trips up a lot of new users. Combined with critical release stability fixes, this feels like Gemini CLI getting serious about production readiness.
