New features Start a project from a Bolt marketplace template You can now start a project from Bolt's template marketplace. Each template is a working project with real features, so you don't have to build everything from scratch. The marketplace includes templates for websites, apps, internal tools, and more. Using a template is free to start. When you customize it, you spend tokens from your account the same way you do on any other project. To start, go to the template marketplace, browse or search for a template, then click Use template to open it as a new project. Click Preview first if you want to interact with the template before using it. Learn more about starting a project from a template. Updates v1 Agent is now retired As of August 3, 2026, the v1 Agent (legacy) and Discussion Mode are retired. If you had a project that was still using the v1 Agent, it's been automatically switched to Bolt Agent. Your project files and chat history remain unchanged. Plan Mode replaces Discussion Mode for exploring ideas or working through a build strategy without changing your code. Learn more about choosing an agent.
