Release Notes
New features Build with open-source models using Bolt Forge Bolt Forge is a new third agent, alongside Standard and Max, that runs on open-source AI models like GLM 5.3, GLM 5.3 Flash, Kimi K3, and DeepSeek v4 Pro. Because these models cost less to run, Forge comes with a larger monthly usage allowance than Standard or Max. Forge is a research preview running from September 14 to October 14, 2026. During the preview, you can get access in two ways: - Pro plans: Forge is included free with every individual Pro plan. Select Bolt Forge in the agent picker and accept the terms to start using it. - Bolt Lite: A new $9/month standalone plan that gives you Forge-only access to the core Bolt experience. Sign up for the Bolt Lite waitlist to claim a seat. Forge usage is tracked separately from your Standard and Max usage, resets monthly, and has no daily limit. Prompts and code sent through Forge are anonymized and shared with Bolt's partners to help train open-source models, so you'll be asked to accept the terms the first time you use it. Forge isn't available on Teams or Enterprise plans. Learn more about Bolt Forge.
