Use your ChatGPT subscription in v0 ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers can now use their ChatGPT subscription to build in v0. Once connected and enabled, eligible AI responses count towards your ChatGPT plan instead of using v0 credits. Supported models currently include GPT-6 Astra, GPT-5.6 Sol, and GPT-5.6 Luna. Use Standard speed when building with your ChatGPT plan; Fast mode requires v0 credits. Watch the launch demo on X or LinkedIn. Connect your ChatGPT account - Sign in to v0 and open the credit balance menu in the header. - Select Use ChatGPT plan, then Continue with ChatGPT. - Connect your ChatGPT account, approve subscription sharing, and enable your plan. - Choose a supported OpenAI model and start building. Once enabled, the header in v0 shows ChatGPT. The model picker also shows Using ChatGPT plan so you can see which billing option is active. You can manage the connection in billing settings or switch back to v0 credits from the credit menu. What counts towards ChatGPT usage? Your ChatGPT plan covers eligible AI responses from supported OpenAI models. Keep a v0 credit balance available for: - A small platform fee on each AI request - Image generation and editing - Delegated subagents - Additional supporting agent work You can also continue using v0 credits for your AI responses at any time by switching your billing option. Usage through your ChatGPT subscription remains subject to your plan's limits. Select Manage usage to view your usage in ChatGPT. What happens if I reach my ChatGPT usage limit? If you reach your ChatGPT usage limit, v0 pauses generation and saves your progress. You can wait until your allowance becomes available again or choose Continue with v0 credits to keep building. v0 will not automatically switch AI responses to v0 credits.
