New features Refer friends and earn cash rewards Bolt's referral program now pays out cash rewards through our referral partner, Cello. When a friend signs up through your personal referral link and subscribes to a paid plan, they get 20% off their subscription and you earn 15% of their revenue (up to $50 per referral). To get your link, log in to Bolt and click Earn $50 in the sidebar. Add your payment method on the Rewards tab to receive payouts. Learn more about referring a friend. Updates v1 agent projects will switch automatically on August 3 If you still have projects that use the v1 agent, you no longer have to switch them manually. On August 3, 2026, any remaining v1 projects will be moved to Bolt Agent automatically. Your chat history is now preserved when a project moves from v1 to Bolt Agent, so context you've built up in the conversation carries over. Learn more about switching v1 projects to Bolt Agent.
